Comments about the Priors
School...
''My
eldest daughter Rhiannon is now a successful student at
Rugby High Grammar School. I believe that the excellent
educational grounding she received at The Priors School
shaped her success. In addition, I saw her confidence and
ability to relate well to others grow stronger through the
teaching she received at The Priors School. My other
daughter Katy is currently at the school, and she is
progressing very well. I have no doubt that she will have
achieved her full academic potential by the time she leaves
and moves onto her next school.'' Nicky Michelmore (Parent).
''I
am in the Priors School, in year 5. I really like the Priors
School and I don't want to leave the Priors School in year
6. Mrs Caddington is the best teacher.'' Rosie (Student).
“The
Priors School has been brilliant for my children. My son
and daughter have very different needs and abilities but
the real beauty of this school is that the small class
sizes mean that the staff really know them and they are
treated as individuals. There is no ‘one size fits all’
approach and therefore they are challenged or supported
according to their particular needs. In addition, there
are real benefits of attending a small community school
in a beautiful rural environment. Children feel safe,
secure and grow in confidence. They also see their
parents and the wider community closely involved with
supporting the school and their education, which gives
them a strong sense of community and their own
individual place in it. My children are very happy here
and I know it will give them an excellent foundation for
the future.” Carolyn (Parent).
''Hello all, I had a good time at Priors School from Nursery
up to year 6. I will never forget the good times I had. All
of the teachers were fab. I had Mrs Caddington in year 6 and
she was the best teacher I had at the Priors School.''
Hannah (Student).
''My husband and I looked
around many schools and decided that The Priors School would
be the best choice for our children. Its superb reputation
for education and its smaller classroom sizes appealed to us
very much. Our eldest son's education and confidence has
improved immensely since joining the school a year ago. He
has achieved excellent KS2 results - we are very proud of
him. The school has certainly lived up to its reputation.
We cannot thank the staff and parents enough for making us
feel very welcome from day one.'' Yvonne Knight (Parent).
''I loved the Priors such a lovely school so homely so
friendly I was there since nursery and left after year 4 I
made friends that I have kept and always will thank you!''
Anna (Student).

''I went to The Priors and loved it, it gave me a great
start in life. It is just like a large family.''
Hannah
(Student).
''It was a great learning curve, when I was younger the
education was good and I enjoyed it while it lasted. The
small classes are good and you feel part of a family not a
school.''
Ashley (Student).
''Hello Priors School I love this school can't wait till I
am in year 5.'' Charlotte
(Student).
''I was the Reception/ Year 1 teacher from Jan '94 to July
'96, this was during the threat of closure. It was a
difficult time for all and I am really pleased that the
school is doing really well. I had a really good time and
look back with very fond memories. All the children, parents
and villagers are often in my thoughts.''
Michelle Mahiques (Former Teacher).
''Dear school, school is cool and it doesn't drool. My baby
sister rules and my 'bf' is called Jules that's why I love
it cause it is cool.''
Esther (Student).
